Welcome to
Upright Guard
The world-class technology that provides real-time feedback on balance and posture during daily activities using cutting-edge sensor technology that is integrated into everyday clothing, such as surface electromyographic sensors and insoles with accelerometers. Its objective is to prevent falls in the general population, with a focus on the elderly and those with neurological conditions like labyrinthitis, Parkinson's disease, and Alzheimer's. Personalized exercises and instant alerts help users build stronger muscles, better posture, and reduce their risk of falling over time. This innovative approach enhances users' independence and quality of life while addressing significant safety concerns in the aging population.
The All-American solution for affordable preventive healthcare improvement
Our innovative application is important on a national scale because it has the potential to improve the wellbeing of vulnerable populations and address urgent healthcare issues. The application integrates state-of-the-art sensor technology into everyday clothing to provide real-time feedback on posture and balance. It is especially made for the elderly and those suffering from neurological diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, labyrinthitis, and other neurodegenerative disorders. This proactive approach to fall prevention not only reduces healthcare costs associated with hospital stays and fall-related injuries, but it also improves the safety and quality of life for these individuals.
The application helps users identify and receive early intervention for those who are at risk of falling through the use of accelerometers and electromyographic sensors to assess posture and balance during routine activities. Through customized alerts and remedial actions, the application helps users maintain stability and avoid accidents. This is in line with the larger national goals of enhancing healthcare outcomes and encouraging healthy aging.
